Three new additions to the 2000-Present 10k list: Haikyuu!! Second Season, Owarimonogatari, and Gochuumon wa usagi Desu ka??.

Obviously Osomatsu-san will be getting added as well, but I explain here my rationale for holding off for a few volumes. Meanwhile, Haikyuu!! s2 will drop from its current average but only by a few thousand, and Monogatari is always very consistent volume to volume within an individual season so the current average is close to where it’ll end up, and Gochiusa is tracking higher than its predecessor than its 11.4k predecessor. Adding these after two volumes shouldn’t be misleading in the big flashy way a 100k Osomatsu-san entry would be.

Toegther they bring the total of 10k sellers to a nice round 150.
Haikyuu is publisher Touhou’s 3rd and studio Prod IG’s 9th 10k.
Owari is publisher Aniplex’s 45th (giving them 30% of all 10ks) and studio Shaft’s 5th 10k.
Gochiusa s2 is publisher NBC universal’s 13th and studio White Fox’s 4th 10k. A credit should also go to Kinema Citrus as well for Gochiusa (they stepped in as co-production this season) but the way my spreadsheets work I can only credit one if I want to keep this semi-automated.

Once Osomatsu-san is added, 2015 will have reached 15 series averaging >10k. That’s tied with 2011 and 2012 for the most ever in a year.
