This week brings two new additions to the 2000-Present 10k+ list:
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is Douga Koubou’s 1st ever 10k series, Kadokawa’s 12th, and the 8th of 2014.
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is Madhouse’s 3rd 10k series (4th after Cardcaptor Sakura in the 90s, though that was only 10k after re-releases), Aniplex’s 39th, and the 9th of 2014.

So Nozaki-kun and Onii-sama stepped up and helped boost 2014 into guaranteed double-digit territory given we’ve still got UBW left to release. Now it’s a question of whether Shirobako is able to hold onto 10k and bring the total to 11. Yuyuyu was the other contender, but it’s looking like it will fall slightly short.

Aniplex is approaching double the 10ks since 2000 of any other distributor. Bandai is a very distant second at 21 and Aniplex has more than #2-3 combined.

(I’ll probably wait a bit longer before setting up the 2015 Winter Vol. 1 list. I was going to do it today but I’ve already been at these new posts and updates for five hours today, I need a break!)
