over 100k unit sold in 1st week for conan really amazing to see how well it is doing after such a long time its still as popular as it has always been.
Re: one of your recent Curiouscat questions, about 2018 Gineiden’s sales, I think the larger than usual underreport by Oricon could be partly down to the BD having its bonuses concentrated at smaller, non-Amazon non-Animate stores. The event ticket was only non-Amazon (can’t recall if it was also at Animate), and there were various other extras only at certain stores, which might have less accurate coverage by Oricon or don’t report at all.
That could certainly be it. I also wonder if this kind of underreporting perhaps isn’t as rare at it seems, but rather we just don’t get any official statements about it 99+% of the time.
Can you give me a quick data regarding how well Yuuki Yuuna had sold for all the season and its movie as well? Sorry if this is troubling. Also, any prediction regarding the sales for Bloom into You or Shoujo Kageki?

From the table of contents you can access the overall average of each season from “Average Sales by Year” for the appropriate year of airing, and numbers for each volume from Per-volume Sales by Year. You can also go to the Quick View to see all averages I have in one place.
As for the films, they never got a normal retail release, except as part of the second season discs. They were sold at theaters however, but that wasn’t reported via Oricon. However, luckily enough there was an interview with a producer at MBS who stated that the films sold about 7,000 discs each at theaters.
It’s too early for Yagakimi predictions, though it’s ranking decently so far. Revue Starlight is hard to predict because Amazon Ranking Stalker is dead. There is a new replacement called Pripri (which I should probably do a post about at some point) but it’s really starting with Fall shows. A Chinese version of Stalker called Mingzuozhibi was tracking Summer shows and has an estimate of 4,962. However, neither site takes into account the fact that Amazon rankings for higher MSRP items are inflated, so a safer guess is maybe 3k.

My movie tracking is really incomplete, so I don’t plan on making a post for it. I only started tracking films with any regularity a couple years ago.
